Our Story
Nourishing Course Lab was founded with a simple observation: many athletes excel at training but struggle with nutrition because the information available is either overly complex or misleading. We noticed talented runners, cyclists, footballers, and gym enthusiasts across the UK were confused about meal timing, macronutrient balance, and practical food preparation.
Our team of sports nutrition professionals and experienced cooking instructors decided to create something different—a platform where science meets the kitchen, where theory becomes practical skill, and where every athlete can feel confident about fuelling their body correctly.

Our lead nutrition director has a background in sports science and experience advising athletes on nutrition strategy. Sarah believes that the best nutrition plan is one the athlete can actually sustain, which is why she combines scientific rigour with real-world practicality in all her guidance.
Marcus Thompson
Head Chef & Culinary Coach
Marcus trained at the British Institute of Culinary Arts and has worked in high-performance kitchens across the UK. His unique background combines professional cookery with a passion for athletic nutrition. He translates complex nutritional science into delicious, athlete-friendly recipes and meal plans that athletes actually want to eat. Marcus teaches that fuelling your body and enjoying your food are not mutually exclusive.
